Each page features a character The Nutcracker Ballet: Clara/Marie, The Nutcracker, Nutcracker Prince, Rat King, Soldier, Small Mouse, Spanish Chocolate, Angel, Mirliton/Marzipan, Girl at the Party, Drosselmeyer, Mother Ginger, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Chinese Tea. All inside pages feature one character each, while the front and back covers have 2 characters.
